Why Papasito Exists

Indonesia has long been known for producing exceptional tobacco. In Jember, Java, experienced rollers make cigars using Havana-seed tobacco grown locally – tobacco with real richness and depth.

But what Indonesia didn’t have was a modern cigar brand built for today’s culture.

Papasito was born in Bali with a simple goal: give Bali and Indonesia access to genuinely premium cigars – without outdated tradition or made-up heritage stories.

We didn’t want to imitate Cuba. We didn’t want to copy old-world branding. We wanted something confident. Clean. Modern. And unmistakably its own.

Crafted in Java

Every Papasito cigar is hand-rolled in Jember, Indonesia’s leading cigar-making region.

We use:

• Havana wrapper
• Havana binder
• Long-filler Havana tobacco

Each cigar is built for consistent draw, even burn, and flavour that evolves from first light to final ash. The Short King is bold and full. The Sugar Daddy is smooth and easy. Both smoke the way they should.

More Than a Product

Papasito isn’t about heritage theatre. It’s about atmosphere. Beach clubs at sunset. Whisky in low light. Slow evenings that turn into long conversations.
